Brawling games are generally played by their community for an extended period of time and a constant amount of secret or hidden goodies to uncover will help with longevity. The trailer seems to hint at that with its deep dive into the sheer amount of content.

One of the funniest things people are doing after the All-Stars Brawl commercial came out is Tweeting as if footage/stills from old Nickelodeon shows are actual stills from All-Stars Brawl and complaining about their favorite "fighter".

If the developers don’t want to spend a slot on an individual KaBlam character, they could just include the hosts of the show instead. Henry and June were the animated hosts of KaBlam, showing up in between segments with their own bits and gags. They introduced every short and closed the show out with a short segment themselves.

Sometimes it's hard to distinguish the difference between an exciting trailer that wants to show off its characters to the actual moment-to-moment gameplay. However, each character that jumps into the screen such as Powdered Toast Man and Sandy Cheeks all arrive with a fancy character entrance. This may be nothing more than a trailer feature but more than likely an opening move when first starting a new match.


While Doug originated on Nickelodeon, one of their first Nicktoons, the show moved to Disney for its latter seasons, bring up the question of who has the rights to the character. But, frankly, we do hope that All-Stars Brawl Stars collectibles has alternate costumes and colors, as it would be an easy way for the developers to tug at our nostalgia even more than they already have.

For example, the Manhattan stage from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is shown quite a bit throughout the trailer. While it doesn't specifically show different variations, it could be a more hidden or nuanced feature that only happens during certain matches. Dynamic stages could make each subsequent match more exciting and varied.


Staying on the topic of sprite-based Smash clones, Super Smash Flash 2 is probably the highest quality Smash fan-game out there. Super Smash Bros. Crusade comes close, but nothing can beat Flash 2 . In the same fashion as the ever-adorable Kirby (even his enemies are cute) ’s copy ability in Super Smash Bros., Swiper could probably adopt his foes' talents. Instead of having a particularly strong skill set, maybe he could use his trickery to gain the upper hand. However he might hypothetically play, it would be great to see Swiper in the game.

"Swiper, no swiping!" Relentless thief and constant nuisance for the titular young explorer in Dora The Explorer, Swiper would make an interesting fighter thanks to his special set of skills. While unsuccessful at every attempt to outsmart Dora, maybe the developers could cut him some slack and allow him to steal other fighters’ abilities and items.

And, lo' and behold, he got well past that amount of likes rather quickly, and Mike graciously delivered, making Hugh sound like a fighting game veteran. Moments like this where even the voices behind the characters themselves interact with the memes is what makes browsing Twitter worth it (for the most part).

Using his unbridled speed, ability to yell some of the most bizarre things around and his love for Dora the Explorer, he would make a formidable foe for any fighter in the arena. While a non-violent, educational duo might not seem like a great fit for a fighter ( educational and fun is a tough mix to get right ), there are certainly plenty of opportunities for an interesting moveset here. Similar to a character like Duck Hunt or Pikmin 's Captain Olimar from the Super Smash Bros. games, Moose could be the muscle, while Zee offered her support by flying around.
