As a Leihuangquan martial arts expert, Yuanwu owns a boxing gym in Jinzhou. The gym used to be known for training Leihuangquan Masters, though many of the Masters met with unfortunate fates over the years, leading to the rumor that the gym was unlucky. Yuanwu was the last practitioner to reach the level of Master. But after he was expelled as a teenager, the gym wasn't able to survive and closed its shutters.


When Yuanwu purchased the gym, he was advised to change it into anything but a martial arts gym. 5 Yuanwu Has A Cat Named Mimi





Yuanwu has a sweet orange cat named Mimi, who hangs out outside the gym. Mimi graciously accepts fish from her adoring fans (usually Yuanwu and Lingyang). Yuanwu dries her leftover fish dinners for a snack later on. However, the weather around Jinzhou changes regularly, presenting challenges for drying fish consistently. Yuanwu, dedicated to providing only the best dried fish for Mimi, experiments with different techniques to achieve the best results.


Mimi visits Yuanwu in one of his idle animations, regardless of where his adventures take him. She can smell the dried fish in his pockets and is insistent about a treat and head scratches.


4 Yuanwu Has A Food Texture Aversion





Yuanwu doesn't like foods that are difficult to chew because of the "prickling sensation of stickiness in [his] mouth." He much prefers soft foods, like soups, congee, and steam buns.


In line with his texture aversion, Yuanwu's comfort food is Jinzhou Stew. When he was wandering the countryside as a young adult, he would make Jinzhou Stew when he felt homesick. His love of the stew only grew, and today he can't have enough of it.


3 Yuanwu Was Once Expelled From His Gym





Yuanwu is a Leihuangquan Master, a martial art named for its resemblance to lightning and thunder. As a teenager, Yuanwu was focused on developing raw power. During a martial arts competition, one of his opponents used his passion against him and goaded him into a trap, which led to him punching through the boxing equipment, disqualifying him from the competition and expelling him from the gym.


Yuanwu spent years roaming the world, honing his art, and reflecting on past events. Little by little, he began to understand that true Leihuangquan Mastery lies in a balance between strength and adaptability, favoring subtlety and a level-head.
